How and where do I get singing gigs doing contemporary & christian rock?
It’s hard enough getting gigs singing secular music but it’s been next to impossible finding churches who will let me sing one song or put on a program. What’s the deal? How on earth did Chris Tomlin, Mercy Me & Casting Crowns get started? I have sent audio files and CD’s to churches. I have visited many churches and they have their own people. They are not open to new comers.
It depends on the church you go to. I know my church would gladly welcome you. I think you can start out small and then just pray that you career will take off.
