Christian Music Club
Is going to a dance club sinful? Should I go to a club or not?
I don’t think the idea of going to a club is a good idea for a Christian like myself. Maybe it’s my fear of dancing with strangers. And that I don’t know how. But I feel club dancing is just too sexual, and why would I go with my friends and dance sexually with strangers? I kind of feel uncomfortable with today’s way of dancing. It’s all humping and grinding and all that. Anyways I declined.
I just don’t feel right. What do you think God would think? Do you think going and dancing with people to hip hop and rap music is fine or against his word?
i can control myself. i just feel that the action of dancing itself to those music is ungodly. why can’t the dancing be less sexual? i rather go to a hoedown.
You make some good points.
There should be other places you can go dancing that are more civilized. You might look for them.
Of course, couple dancing does have an inherent sexual aspect, but it doesn’t have to be flagrant.
