Why is worship music so lame?

You’d think with the divine inspiration Christian musicians have, the fruits of their labour would at least rival the quality of their secular counterparts. Granted this is all subjective, but surely there would be some crossover into the mainstream market if Christian music was actually any good. its all far too generic for my taste, or am i missing something?

Because it relates in theme and message that does not evoke feelings in you that are relative to your everyday life, which therefore does not compel you to think of things or persons or emotions that interest you in your everyday life, since Christianity is probably not a large portion, if at all, OF your life, so it does not “charge” you or “lift your mood” or “motivate you” in ways that it would someone who is a devout Christian who doesn’t mind hearing the same theme over and over again. Plus, who wants to hear the same thing over and over again anyways? No matter WHAT the song or it’s message?
