Do you think Rock fits with Christianity?
I am a huge rock’n'roll fan who plays in a hardcore christian band. I have played at churches and attended shows where they would sponsor the events. However, there is always criticism as to the legitimacy of using this form of music to express christianity. Some people even consider it to be as sinful as alcohol, drugs, and promiscuity. Do you think the form of music matters just as much as the message?

stuff like that, with the screaming and the breakdowns and such..

Why not, where do you think your gift of music came from we all have gifts you are using yours for a good cause, there is nothing wrong with that. there will always be nitpickers let them be the fact that they are judging you is sinful in itself for we were all taught not to judge lest ye be judged.
Anyways you can’t please everyone all the time no matter how hard you try so don’t let it get you down. The ones that enjoy it outnumber them I’m sure, anything to bring people together in one interest of worshiping God and congragating to learn the scriptures should never be viewed negatively. Don’t stop unless you want to. God bless.
