MQ: Now there is a Rev. Jesse Jackson sample in that song. He says in a speech “You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music.”
Is that last bit a true statement or not. Is all music really music, or are there cases where music is not music?

Actually Ruthey, I’m in the southern Hemisphere. Also it’s dark, so I can’t see clearly at all.
Of the two Primal Scream albums I’ve heard, I much prefer XTRMNTR to Screamadelica, but it’s certainly a good album.
MQ: Well, genres can be helpful, but if it’s sound intended as music, it’s music.
