Gospel Music Turns
Do any gospel choirs NOT sing about Jesus?
The music is good, but the topics from song to song are all the same. It would be nice to mix it up with other topics, such as cars, turning Japanese, whipping it really good, etc.
In looking up the definition of gospel music, I found a host of different definitions. The most popular definitions were along these lines:

I also found the following included in one of the definitions:
“By the middle of the 20th century it had also become a distinct category of popular song, independent of religious association, with its own supporting publishing and recording firms, and performers appearing in concerts.”
While the definition of gospel music is first and foremost Christian, it could, of course, combine that with different topics. A lot of both Gospel and Christian rock music is pretty good.
